A Christian Education is Possible
We believe that all students deserve the opportunity for a Christian education. At Orlando Christian Preparatory, we accept students who qualify for Step Up for Students and the McKay Scholarship. We also provide in-house financial assistance, approved through a third party, called the World Changers Fund, to qualifying families.
World Changers Fund
A limited amount of financial assistance is available to qualifying families. This financial aid is based on several factors, including financial need. Current families must complete an application and have it filed beginning February 1, 2017 for the 2017-2018 school year. New families must have applied for admission to OCP in order to be considered for financial aid. All families must apply through Family Financial Needs Assessment.
Step Up for Students Scholarship
Visit www.stepupforstudents.org to sign up for our interest list so that they can receive future communications about the scholarship. If parents have any questions, please call 877-7FL-SUFS (877-735-7837), Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
In preparation for each upcoming application season, Step Up for Students will send emails to renewal families and to families that have signed up for our interest list informing them of when the season will open and what steps they can take to make sure they are prepared when the application becomes available.
Orlando Christian Preparatory accepts some students with McKay Scholarships, a scholarship given to students with disabilities. Because OCP is committed to providing the best and highest quality education the student requires, we ask that you bring a copy of the student’s most recent IEP and psychological evaluation, along with their current report card, for us to determine whether we have the appropriate resources for your child’s success.
Gardinar Scholarship Program
The Gardiner Scholarship Program provides eligible students a scholarship that can be used to purchase approved services or products in order to design a customized educational program for the student. Scholarships can be used for specialized services such as speech or occupational therapy, instructional materials, tuition at an eligible private school, contributions to a college prepaid account and more. The program is directly administered by state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organizations.
